Dear Darling XJ,
We’re proud to see you learning & catching up things
I love seeing XJ holding his toes, he starts doing that since he can flip his body. He is getting very much naughty. His voice becomes more mature to a bigger boy. My neighbour told me the other day that he can listen to his shouting at night & his crying sounds very loud! My boy can really shout, we get shock when he suddenly do it at a quiet living hall@my parents place & sometimes I’m worry whether or not it hurts his throat?
My little monster doesn’t like to play the toys which are suitable for his age. That’s a bit headache… I collected the musical play gym from my credit card redemption at my parents, I thought he will love it. To my disappointment, he shows a little curious for the first time and he seems doesn’t like playing after that! I guess the main reason is because the soft toys hanging there can’t be taken out, he can’t hold it & throw it… yeah he loves throwing whatever we give him & smile at us after throwing on the floor
So do you call it NAUGHTY?
Two obvious developments are ~ he is able to recognise places. Since we are seldom going back to my PILs place so that his eyes rolling + looking here & there + starts crying… And XJ loves to stare at whoever is talking. I guess kid learns words from there as I had observed my eldest niece was like that too when she was small girl. When I talk to hubby, he stares at me then his head turns to hubby when hubby talks to me. Same thing at my parents place. That’s so cute of him! Oh yeah he can roll two times consecutively as well. His grow chart@5 months 2 days is 7kg (weight), 64.5cm (height), 43.7cm(head circumference). Not much growth from last month but Pead said it’s very common for babies about 6 months old will go slow down in growth.

sounds very much like my nephew. when he was a toddler… he likes to throw things too! and when he grew and knows how to walk, he begin learning how to use the screwdriver =.=’ and then he instead of throwing the things about, the disassembled all the screws and never put it back… we never bought him electronics stuffs until he grew older haha.
I guess most babies have the similar character, they feel happy + proud after they manage to throw things! And later become a little destroyer!

What sweet photos of your sweet little one. Some times the toys I gave my children didn’t interest them so I put them away and brought them out again a few weeks later and they would then like it!
Maybe I’ll try keep it now & bring out later. Thx Cheryl

Don’t be too disappointed Dora, Chloe also never played with her baby toys when she was small too… the more expensive the toys are, the more she showed no interest in them * big sigh* She’d rather play with simple household things like remote control, plastic containers etc. She only found joy in playing with real toys much later…
Ok I won’t buy the expensive one at this stage
yeah what u said is correct, u know XJ loves to play the belt in the bouncer now!

XJ seems to be growing up so fast! How cute he’s trying to follow along your conversations. My daughter (4 yr old) didn’t play much of her toys either. She did like musical toys though. You’ll be surprised how quickly babies learn things. Very soon, you will hear him blab “mama” or “dadda”.
yeah I guess we need to observe more to know what he actually like playing only then proceed to buy otherwise that’s a waste of money! I’m waiting him to call us, that’s exciting!

First kid is so precious, we proud parents want to record every milestone.
Which city/town are you? Santa in Sarawak and Singapore are mainly commercial things. They are in shopping malls enticing people to buy buy buy.
yeah I’m to excited to record his milestone now
I’m in the lousy town of KL

The doctor has these “milestones”… Some babies are faster, some slower (girls are usually faster, talk and walk sooner than boys)…it does not really matter very much as long as they are healthy. Looks like yours is progressing fine! Mine slept a lot and she would wake up when she heard the slightest sound e.g. my bones creaking, and she would scream the house down - so scared that she would wake up! Hahahahahaha!!!!
yeah I aware that normally girls will develop faster compare to boys. My little monster opens his eyes too when there’s mere little sound. He didn’t cry but just won’t get back to sleep

Happy 5 mths old, bb XJ! Nah… he’s not naughty. He’s jes experimenting with gravity.

Oh yes, when I talked to babies, they would do exactly the same. Staring at me with big curious eyes and their eyes would follow any voices that joined in. Cute! Baby XJ is full of energy.
wondering what’s in their mind when staring at us talking?… yeah he is energetic although he had injection he just need some sleep then back to normal again

Happy 5 Months Old to Baby XJ!!
Same here, Gwen didn’t like her play gym mat at first. But she soon grew to love it. Maybe you keep the play gym and slowly introduce it to him again next time.
I let him play once in a while now but he just gives a few kicks then start shouting already
maybe I’ll keep in the store room for time being. Thx Mummy Gwen

Happy 5 months old, Baby XJ!
I guess when he throws things, he’s curious on the outcome - what noise it makes, does it bounce when it hits the floor, and mummy’s reaction. He’s learning :-).
yeah he will look at me after throwing things on the floor, seems like what u said ~ see my reaction! Thx BoeyJoey
