~THIS IS NOT A PAID POST, PLEASE READ ON~

Two weeks ago hubby and I went to MidValley to shop. Well, I had nothing specific to buy but hubby searched for a digital Casio watch. He wants to wear one which is cheaper to work so that if any scratch or knock down, he won’t feel heartache or at least not so guilty. This is all according to him. (For me this is something nonsense!) So if this guy becomes rich one day he’ll waste a lot of money. (But I hope he can be rich one day also, hehehe…);)

Ok serious now. This question actually playing in my head for years. It reminds me for it when we hopped in the watch shops that day. Did you notice that almost all the watches and clocks (for display) be it in watch shops or advertisements are purposely adjusted to 10:08? Why?…Does it serve a special meaning? I’m extra curious as for this. Anyone of you who know it please drop me a line here. Thank you very much!

My hubby one is not this definitely but wish for this Omega Speedmaster one day. This pix is shown to make better illustration for the above write-up alright?

I think I read about this somewhere before… it’s more of the way the hands are positioned rather than the time itself. this way, the hands look like a smile :-) compared to if you wind it to say, 8:20 which looks like :-(

This is interesting. Thx Siew Ting for sharing this info!

Now, I’m curious. I heard it somewhere before, but I just couldn’t recall it!! think the next time I visit the watch shops, I’d ask the shop assistant. :)

Remember to ask then, hehehe…thx Choc Mint Girl!
