I Can See Some Lights Finally…

I just couldn’t find the rhythm last week, towards the weekend… that was so unproductive of myself

Shopped at 1U like without directions coupled with XJ was quite difficult to handle recently, he always wanted things going his way… I would like to relax my mind and take a breath before heading for some inspirations. I was caught by the colorful lanterns (the decors for Mid Autumn Festival) so I stopped-by for a while. Dinner time was another headache because many restaurants were full. What’s worse than you can’t find a place to stuff your stomach when you’re dying for food?!… The little guy throwing tantrum, throwing things on the floor… I don’t need opus x to calm myself. How I wish I can jump into the swimming pool to swim a few rounds leaving one big guy and one little guy doing whatever they prefer but leave me alone! …

I was lucky at the end as there was this going on my side at least ~ A sweet voice from a young lady singing one of my fav songs from Shunza. They are 4 members lifeband. That was magical, the tense in my head slowly released with the beautiful flow of rhythm in the air… The best part was when hubby brought XJ to walk (he enjoys walking by holding our hands now) so that I could enjoyed thoroughly. The guys can play the instruments excellently but the one can play both modern & traditional I admired the most. I totally melt in one Mandarin song (a duet by Han Hong & Sun Nan in The Myth, a Jackie Chan’s movie). I went down to have an “upclose”. I was moved by the beautiful pieces of music. I could feel my tears scrolling down at any second & I hold it but I couldn’t prevent the “sentimental-side” of me take charge at that special moment! “I’m like that one”…

Another 35-min for another brand new day, a late greeting “Happy Merdeka” !

Beware, Don’t Get Close!

You will regret sitting close to this little guy if you’re having something very precious to you in your hands! He has the ever-innocent looking on his face so this wins people’s heart to touch him. But they never know all his monkey-cum-stunt acts at home with only his parents If I want to get the house chores sorted out, I’ll put him into his cot and let him watch some educational DVDs or cartoons plus many toys and other non-toy grab-able stuff (no sharp edges & no small parts) so that he won’t feel bored. But everything just gotta be speed up because the little monster doesn’t want to be alone (during the time papa was out in the weekend) or he will yell ’til the uncle next door telling me “your son could be a saprano next time!”

See his naughty hand and leg there! Maybe he wanted to share his excitement too in my Sherlock Holmes?…

This little monster would be very selfish most of the time, he shouts to interrupt when me & hubby is talking. When he get attended, he smiles… From very early about 4 or 5 months old, he cried for someone although I was going to the kitchen to wash his feeding bottle. Never think and no chance to dump him alone! And even reading my book I have to sit near him. But he will extend his leg or hand to touch or even squeeze it! The room is almost ready for him (it serves as store room temporarily before his arrival) and we’re planning for a number of preschool furniture so all his books, toys and others can nicely stored. But I wondered he can sit still for a book next time…

People in my office kept talking about the topic on investments. Sure it’ll go on for a couple of days at least because I know these people well… Who doesn’t know it’s worth to invest on gold bullion, right? Only if you have extra saving you can consider placing a bit this for investment and a bit there for retired planning so on and so forth. Tell you, sometimes I rather walk away from these people (only a small number of them anyway) to avoid the topics which should have came out from the mouth of some others but definitely not them. These are people who only well on drama series and sale, I wondered how on earth they show interest in investments now… We should listen to the expert for consultation in this precious metal market, United States Gold Bureau is the one in this case.

“Weekend means going out”, that’s in XJ’s mind these days I’m sure as he really excited everytime we dressed up & take out his stroller. He will raise both hands up & shouts with delight! Can you imagine that? this cheeky little guy…A typical Saturday spent at 1U and a slow-pace Sunday at Ikano. I kind of love Sunday as it tends to be lazy but relax! Actually I was searching for a Hillary Clinton’s book (but failed after an aggressive search at some Major bookstores) so I’ll put a full stop at the moment and hope it’ll pop out next time ‘coz things always work in this way for me We headed towards our favorite tea place ~ Kluang Station for lunch. Firstly we thought wanted to try their buffet but after some consideration with a glance at the food offer, we decided not but ordered what had in mind. I had Nasi Ayam Merah (RM 8.90) + Barley ice (RM2.40) and hubby had Nasi Lemak Ayam Goreng (RM9.90) + Cham hot (RM2.60). The total is only RM26.20 (inclusive of tax). A very satisfied meal yet cheaper here, a total opposite of THIS !

I like this Singaporean comedian, he is a very hilarious guy (the center one) who never fails to cheer me

There were NTV7 artistes doing the publicity of a new local movie (co-star with Singaporean) and some activities going on the stage. I top-up some groceries@Cold Storage while hubby enjoyed the events outside with little guy. When I was done with the stuff and joined them, hubby was grinning and he told me something silly just happened while I was queuing at the cashier. You know what? An ugly (not his look but his manner) elderly man stole a handful of fried spring-rolls from the food platter at the events area. Not many people saw but for those who did, get stunned while him munching, walked away slowly…

Health Plan

I remembered very well in my mind that my teacher of standard 6 asked me a question during the oral test. The question is ” Which do you think is more important, money or health?” Without hesitation, I rendered my opinion “health is more important”. My reason is you hardly go and earn money if you don’t have a healthy body. I’ll tell the same if someone pour the question again. This is very true right? If one is not healthy, you think he or she enjoys the money?… Anyway, I always think the need of a health plan for a family is important too for some kind of assurance in future. Greenhouse Project?!

You know when lunch hour with a gang of colleagues, you will have all type of topics to share or discuss besides eating your meal. So we touched something about plants at home yesterday. Not so much of my “expertise” so I do not offer nor generate any bright idea for the fellas who are so enthusiastic for planning a sort of greenhouse at their home’s garden! Anyway, I’m not “pouring cold water” to my dear lovely colleagues. Their determination is always doubted because their previous home projects never seems to get executed although they were started the topics as excited as this time! Ok when one of them said that she might not possibly have a greenhouse since she is staying in a condo, my mind suddenly clicked to hydroponic systems which I came across in those gardening magazines. This can solve her problem but another foreseeable problem could be the price of the variety of systems because it’s expected to be not cheap. And ladies, read more and don’t always glue to the HK drama series, hahaha…

Places To Go When Shopping

Tell me what do you like to see often when you go shopping either alone, with family or friends? The places I must hop-in are bookshops and home decor shops. Normally I’ll go back with one or two new books or sometimes magazines but never go back with one or two pieces of home decor anyway… But when little guy growing up to this stage, he wants to visit his places too which are toys section of the department store and ToysRus being the primary. And we gotta spend a relatively long time accompanying him there so the time spend to other places will automatically shorten. Quite some time I do not update myself the latest pieces of contemporary furniture and I’m just browsing some books at my favorite sections because every single thing need to be quick so we have more time for others!

You know every Friday could be the happiest day among us in the office because the boss will come-in later than normal and he will call it a day much earlier too! How enjoyable, isn’t it? So on that Friday we had some chats on investment. A few of them have sound knowledge on that and I adored. I guess I should have started to do something like that too for a more secure or better life in future? But being the forever coward in investment myself (only in investment but not others! hahaha), I’m kind of no confidence in placing money to the hands of others and praying hard for not losing that. I guess I’ll get insomnia soon after! But one told me I should have appoint someone expert in giving the reliable advices. 6th Time Aunt & of Books…

First I want to congratulate my 3rd elder bro & sis in-law again for the arrival of their newborn baby boy yesterday. This is their 3rd kid We sms-ed each other for updating & he sent me a pic which I’ll say he must be much naughtier than but as handsome as XJ! hahaha… I can’t put up the pic here ‘coz my bro wishes not to… By this, I’m 6th time Aunt

On the other account, I want to touch a little on my definition of ENJOY. Despite what I always hope for a satisfied afternoon nap in the weekend (an uninterrupted ~ without hubby wakes me up with “XJ poo-ed already, please wash for him; XJ is crying, I think he is starving for milk or something” … etc) and I could say this is barely possible at least at this point of time, I ENJOY very much into reading a good book with a cup of hot coffee (must be hot coffee when reading) plus some soft music ~ ahh…, that’s absolutely lovely! I can’t say this is impossible entirely but I just cannot spend a stretch-long hours on my favorite books because of my duty/responsibility on XJ too…

At the top of my favorite is still the auto/biography category followed by sci-fi/thriller/crime/mystery. Last time Stephen King’s books are labelled sci-fi but I’m not sure why it’s thriller/mystery & sometimes I can find it in the “horror” shelves?! I read quite a lot on Stephen King’s works but I was so interested in thriller/crime/mystery suddenly when I was pregnant with XJ. I started with a few of Jeffery Deaver and Jeffrey Archer then (Dan Brown recently), my mind kept thinking ” how can this happened?… who is the murderer?… as if I’m an investigator myself hahaha… I’m not sure XJ “inherits” my forever curious mind naturally or because I read a lot of those books that time…

My little catch of the day…

I top-up only 2 more books with the same category but different authors. Michael Jackson book is hubby’s while those kids books are for XJ & my nieces. These are all from BookXcess during their recent 3rd Anniversary sales. I’m sure there’ll be more for myself if I can stay longer there, XJ kept shouting among the crowd so I was choosing just that little in rush!

Security

I’ll go checking my mail box everyday when come back from work. So there was a big envelope laying in the box bearing both hubby’s and my name. So I thought it’s must be something about our house but a bit doubtful too because we have got the S&P Agreement long time ago. (The envelope is of an agreement size so I thought like that in the first place) When I opened it at home, it’s actually a document to us from our Management Office inviting the residents to attend the annual meeting. I never like to attend after reading the minutes taken during the meeting last year. They were mostly discussed on the nonsense issues but they never take our idea seriously as we proposed previously. We suggested to install security cameras at the corridor and inside the elevators but what they’ve done is to get some dummy cameras up!
