I’ll try to update the highlights from the eve of CNY (in simple summary) ‘coz I’ve stopped there due to busy after the celebration + lazy after work :-P

Eve of CNY ~ Reunion dinner@Oriental Pearl, Bukit Jalil. Food is excellent & everyone happy catching up with each other.

CNY ~1st Day~ Give angpows to XJ, dressed-up & visited parents + relatives’ houses. Had McD@Sunrise, Mt Kiara in the late afternoon while XJ got a balloon fr McD’s staff. Wanted to dine@Paparich, Gardens but they stopped operation@9pm so we at@Food Garden. The Tempura Bento was quite big for me… XJ was happy & slept at very late night.

CNY ~3rd & 4th Day~ Worried ‘coz XJ fever@night (highest@38 degree). We suspected XJ bugged@1U the day before ‘coz too many ppl + air flow prob + dirty. No Pead@night so went to see doc@PMC, Bangsar. No admission but a chaotic night as XJ threw tantrum over the medicines. Fever subsided quickly but antibiotic caused diarrhea ’til his butt became red. Checked with Pead the next day to make sure things r right & lotion given for sensitive skin.

CNY ~6th Day~ My parents & my bros + family came to my house. Mischievous XJ played with everyone & made everyone happy :-) I enjoyed this moment. I didn’t realise that I’m “so family” kind of person last time… Family dinner at a nearby restaurant.

n/b: My CNY celebration this year was rather flat most probably due to the worry & over-tiredness during XJ fever. But my mischievous little monkey was still as playful as normal although his temperature showed 38d. Doc said he didn’t seem like having fever!

09.03.2010~ XJ is 8-month old:-
The greatest “achievement” is that he has spontaneous respond to his name. Less crying, more happy smiling + cunning laugh (he is always a happy baby & love smiling a lot since ard 4-mth old). Weight: 8kg, Height: 69.1cm Head Circ: 46cm. Oh yeah, towards the end of 7 months old, XJ started to say “bah bah” & “bao” so we really confused he is actually trying to say papa or baobao (hug)…

29.03.2010~ My father’s birthday~ Since he enjoys tea time very much like me so I treated him tea & toast together with mom, hubby + XJ@Hainan Cafe. We all had proper lunch like chicken chop rice, chicken rice, noodle & others but he loves eating such simply things every time we dine@cafe. He is such a simply man & I wish my father as healthy + as happy as now forever :-P

ok, more or less something like this… will post pix later…

Oh it’s been 1 week+ I didn’t update my blog ‘coz my free time was occupied with the preparation of CNY. Since hubby was busy at work so I gotta sorted out many things on my own this time like spring cleaning, buying CNY goodies & others. I try to update a little here & catch up with u guys ok? Here’s a quick one:-

Baby XJ is 7 Months old on 09.02.2010 ~ He is getting more mischievous & very playful. When we bring him out at night, he didn’t want to sleep although it’s time for sleep. He will cry if I soothe him to sleep & laugh out happily when I take out the soother + carrying him straight-up position! :-P

Happy Happy… ~ my CNY presents, I guess it’s just fine to reward myself with a small one -> Dell Netbook. I love it so much ‘coz I always like a small 10″ one as it’s convenient to bring anywhere. And a BIG one being my new Toyota Vios, hehehe… but it only can be collected in early March.

Ok, I’ll try to adjust myself slowly & hop to your blog + comments like before. Here Wishing my Chinese blogger friends & readers HAPPY & PROSPEROUS CHINESE NEW YEAR + HAPPY VALENTINE to everyone!

My SIL get the luggages on-board with Kar Men’s little help. Kar Men wears stoking by herself. She is good girl. She knows her mummy is preggie so she tries to do all things herself.
But daddy still think she is small small girl, wear shoes take so long and help her up. Safe journey home. See u Kar Men, I gotta miss u much! So most probably will see u in Penang when ur baby didi/mei mei is born.

I love these flowers my mum bought for me very much esp the pink colour one. Its name is “wan zhi chian hong“. It looks even prettier when I watering it this morning.
We went to Pavilion’s GSC for John Rambo as planned earlier but so damn disappointed that it’s only show@9.45pm & 12:15am. These time are not suitable at all-> we have dinner with my parents with my SIL’s mum (comes from Penang) at 7pm & feeling don’t want to watch midnight movie since always slept late at night for the past 2-week!!! So, paid the parking fees & straight away heading towards 1U. (See how loyal we support Rambo!) It’s quite cruel & inhuman but I love it! Sound effect is great! A 60 something Rambo is still alright!
Some snapshots at my parents’ place after dinner@a nearby restaurant. These two gals keep sitting on my laps. The auntie with red blouse is my SIL’s mum. She’ll stay a night@my parents’ house & go back to Penang with My bro & family tomorrow. We went for a cuppa@Old Town Cafe after some rest. Oh no…put on some KGs!!! (And we’ll have dim-sum for tomorrow’s morning! really fainted!…) * See tomorrow’s update! *

We went “bai nian” at my 2nd bro house after lunch@parents’ house.

We are on the way!

The adults are chatting in the dining room while these people are enjoying themselves with their activities respectively in the living room.
These lil gals then went on to the toys room to play. Qian & Kar Men played inside the “iglo house” & asked me to “squeeze in”. The lil fella are so cute!

——-> we spent a fews hours there, had some flower tea & snack, chatting…very relax until about 4 pm.
Then hubby & I went back for a rest b’coz we are damn sleepy and had dinner@my in-laws’ house. Just stayed there for a while & stopped by my parents’ house. We had a “joyride” at night before we went back home:-
Firstly went to Desa/Sri Hartamas, people chilled out@ard Souled Out & Finnegan area. Then heading to city centre

So quiet along Jalan Raja Chulan
I love this one, very nice lighting.

When we turned into Jalan Bkt Bintang (in front of Pavilion), there was traffic jam like during wee hours even that was almost 1am! Heading back home afterwards, took a warm shower & ZZZzzz…

First Day of CNY is full of activities and the routine is the same every year:-)
1st stop of course go to my parents’ house to “bai nian”.Reached my parents’ house & found Kar Men playing with the Mickey tricycle.

Then went to my aunt’s house (my dad’s younger sis). We had food, food, food…The kids are busy and Kar Men always curious as to what her daddy has captured.

Kar Men wants to play by her own but she needs “gu jiong’s” help sometimes.
They went to our house. The kids love to play my hubby’s collection of PC games.
The kids love to “buat kacau kacau” after dinner so we had this photo together.
Chilled out@Coffee Bean after dinner

Reached my parents’ house & the lights are on.
Some of the delicious food. Our reunion dinner this year is “buffet style” in dining b’coz there are just too many of us. Hardly fit-in all together@dining table.
“Lou Sang” time, wish we all have a healthy, happy & prosperous year. My hubby got no place to stand, so he stand on the chair instead! My mum laughed@him!

Having fun with the kids, they are my nieces & nephew:-

Yuan is busy with many things like asking who wants to eat Mandarin Oranges…I always like to chat with her. She is so tall, almost@ my shoulder but she is just a Standard 2 pupil!
Qian is a bit shy the whole night, not a “usual her”. According to her mom, she doesn’t get used to see many relatives who are not really close. So hubby tried to cheer her up!
Kar Men came back from Penang 2 days b4 CNY. Her favourite is this Mickey tricycle whenever she came back to granny’s house.
Chern Huan is naughty boy, always like to “fight” with the girls. So the girls boycotted him. He cried very loud and be a good boy afterwards! He went back to his “poh poh” hometown in Kelantan on the 1st Day of CNY. So, we’ll meet him after 1-week time.

That’s some nice & simple deco@the classy Pavilion
We met with my 2nd elder bro & family. We were sitting on the Spanish Steps & watching the performances by acrobatics teams. It was a relax day.
I love this kind of Lion very much (I was told its origin is from Northern China). It looks “adorable”, isn’t it?
Their bodies are really amazing, right?…
To end the show, we saw this “changing of faces”. I like this one. It was performed by a pretty lady.
