It was just like yesterday & all those moments still very fresh playing in my mind from 08th July 2009 which my labor started ’til this little handsome guy safely delivered on early morning of 09th July 2009. It’s the sweetest date to remember
So I’m doing some brief flashback on the photos taken, let’s see together…

New Born ~ pinkish healthy baby, oh look at the cute little hand!
1 Month Old ~ he is a crying machine ok, how glad I see him sleep like this
2 Months Old ~ less crying, more smiling, hahaha…
3 Months Old ~ this little robot is getting more energetic.

4 Months Old ~ flip his body & learn a bit of crawling.
5 Months Old ~ enjoy bouncing like exercising his legs.
6 Months Old ~ first time on baby solid & going very well.
7 Months Old ~ don’t like to sit long in the stroller, want to carry!!!

8 Months Old ~ get to know Mickey Mouse & become his best friend ’til now.

This was a brunch treat by my 2nd bro for his 2 sweetiepies’ birthday. It’s an earlier celebration too on last Sunday afternoon@Shabu Garden, Kuchai Entrepreneurs’ Park. You know the day before was XJ’s birthday party & he wanted to play those new toys (his presents) ’til midnight + we were out the entire day on Sunday & watched Wimbledon Men’s Single Final (happy to see my fav guy won, vamos Rafa
at night so that’s what I said it was super busy! OK straight to the food without further delay…

Same people attended XJ’s party went there. The restaurant turned into a chilled room ‘coz the heavy rain has just stopped. Still cool even the staff adjusted the air-con to a warmer temperature but I love it since we were having shabu so that’s perfect! I roughly went through the menu & I let my bro decided for what to eat ‘coz my principle is I’ll go for whatever on the table when someone’s paying the bill
& some more I saw everything in the menu are nice… For me, the lamb sliced is the best among others. I had yee mee, prawns, abalone mushrooms, veggies, fish cakes & a lot a lot more… I love the individual burner & pot ‘coz it’s more convenience. We all chose normal soup (shld be a name for it) for base while hubby wanted tomyam. I like their handmade fish balls, fish cakes & others ‘coz it’s fresh. I love this restaurant too for its cleanliness, quiet + simple decor. We’ll normally look for such kind of place for family get-together occasion & will definitely come back for more rounds!

Catching up with each other then proceeded to cut cake session. As previous years, there were 2 cakes of the girls’ choice. Actually XJ shares the same birthdate with my eldest niece Y. Ok Y’s Kings’ Pandan Layer cake & Q’s Starbucks’ Chocolate Cake. They both tasty but we just had a small piece for each. The birthday presents were given to the girls together with XJ. Although the girls are almost stepping into their teenager-hood, they are still very “daddy & mommy’s girls” most of the time esp the younger one Q! hahaha
Thank you bro for inviting us to this lovely party.
… … … zzz … zzz … ZZZ… ZZZ…

~ The “aftermath” of too much socializing events but it’s good for mama & papa ‘coz we enjoyed the food peacefully finally :-) ~

It’s double special date today ~ Mother’s Day & my little monster is 10 months old! It’s the first Mother’s Day I celebrated for me as a mom so it’s gonna be a little happier. No grand celebration but just a simple + warm one which was enough to cheer my heart. We had an earlier celebration yesterday with just 3 of us. We dined at a nearby restaurant but the food were just so-so. I guess the more important thing is to enjoy the moment being with the loved ones.
Well, my mom & father followed my 3rd bro & family to Genting Highlands for George Lam’s concert. She called me & said that’s good & the stay@Maxim was fantastic. That was her Mother’s Day present. Mine… err… nope! I need to sort out pile of chores… It’s so funny, the little fella got a gift on Mother’s Day but not me?… He got Mickey Mouse from hubby. He is Mickey Mouse maniac now! Tell ya, he will shout out loud when he sees Mickey balloons, t-shirts, bottles etc.

~ XJ’s Mickey Mouse & My Pink Carnation ~
I’m happy to see XJ is growing well. Some people comment that he looks “small built” for a 10 months old baby but the Pead said he is growing very well at the average rank. Growing healthily is more important. He eats well on porridge & always finish the 8 Oz milk so there’s no prob on that but it’s just he doesn’t seem like to nap + explore & moving a lot… He understands when I say “no, u can’t do that…” Last time he will continue but he stops. I used ruler to beat his hand when he plays fan & I told him not to play ‘coz it dangerous… After some times, I’m glad that he understand it
He is learning to walk a little & he can walk from one end to the other in the baby cot.
Ok XJ I know I’m a little serious to u sometimes so u are clever to go to papa most of the time. I hope it doesn’t mean u love papa more than mama. If yes, I’m hurt. I’m serious ‘coz I want to correct u when I notice what’s not right to do, alright? Papa is too soft & lenient on this so he will just let u do whatever which I think it’ll only make u become a little moron next time.
Oh yeah I have presents, a Pink Carnation & a BIG KISS with lotsa saliva!… No dirty mind please, it’s a sweet one from my little monster! I love ya

Happy Mother’s Day to My Mom, Myself & all Mommies!
Happy 10 Months Old to XJ!

Oh it’s been 1 week+ I didn’t update my blog ‘coz my free time was occupied with the preparation of CNY. Since hubby was busy at work so I gotta sorted out many things on my own this time like spring cleaning, buying CNY goodies & others. I try to update a little here & catch up with u guys ok? Here’s a quick one:-
Baby XJ is 7 Months old on 09.02.2010 ~ He is getting more mischievous & very playful. When we bring him out at night, he didn’t want to sleep although it’s time for sleep. He will cry if I soothe him to sleep & laugh out happily when I take out the soother + carrying him straight-up position!
Happy Happy… ~ my CNY presents, I guess it’s just fine to reward myself with a small one -> Dell Netbook. I love it so much ‘coz I always like a small 10″ one as it’s convenient to bring anywhere. And a BIG one being my new Toyota Vios, hehehe… but it only can be collected in early March.
Ok, I’ll try to adjust myself slowly & hop to your blog + comments like before. Here Wishing my Chinese blogger friends & readers HAPPY & PROSPEROUS CHINESE NEW YEAR + HAPPY VALENTINE to everyone!

Dec 31

Oh so fast come to the last day of 2009 which is today! It’s time to say Goodbye to 2009 & welcome the brand new 2010
As a sum up, my greatest moment this year is none other than having my little monster XJ as my forever lovable play toy, hahaha… opps, playmate!
Besides, I’m satisfied with some little achievements@work too.

~ Sherlock Holmes as New Year gift to myself ~
So have you planned your celebration on the New Year Eve? Well, I guess I won’t go to any of the shopping malls to avoid the crowd. All I want is some quiet & peaceful moment. Hubby promised that he will take care XJ & let me enjoy my book. Yeah I bought Sherlock Holmes@Borders after work, more precisely after a cuppa with my ex-coll. “Sorry Ben, I was in a hurry ‘coz I was worry it’s late to fetch XJ but it’s great for an hour updating each other + thx for the iced mocha” Ok, I flipped & read a bit of Sherlock Holmes. It’s interesting, not the usual crime/thriller/investigation stories I read which are straightforward. It’s based on the late 19 century so the English is little err… “oldies” but I guess I love it & will explore it… And will watch the movie too.
Alright complete whatever you think it’s need to be done, let the unpleasant experience be the past memory or forget about it if possible. Let’s search for something nice in the New Year of 2010!

p/s: not really a new year resolution but I hope XJ grows up as a healthy & cheerful boy!

Regarding baby’s apparels, I don’t really like romper if there are no buttons in the middle as it’s quite difficult to get baby wear but I love seeing baby wears romper simply because it’s cute and it turns a baby looks like a robot, so it’s cute!
When I tidy Baby XJ’s closet, I found a romper which I almost forgot its existence. It’s the fullmoon gift from my sis in-law (hubby’s sis). When I look at the size 0-6 months, I quickly take it out and let Baby XJ wear because most of those 0-6 months clothes are getting tight for him and he even started to wear 6-12 months clothes…

When I put him to wear this, hubby said he looks like Doreamon! I didn’t realise but after comparing with this blue color thingy… it’s a cat right?… (according to my niece it’s a cat, sorry I’m not so into comics/cartoons/animations and not a fan to Doreamon), yeah he does look like Doreamon in this outfit. And I found this blue thingy is cute too, I may want to start collecting its merchandise & collectibles. Oh yeah I have a few too in the box, that’s the free gift from McD Happy Meal… Do you think he is cute with this “Doreamon-lookalike-Romper?”
Well this is the battery-operated lantern I bought for Baby XJ but he seems not very interested everytime I show it to him. Try to get a photo with him but very difficult since he is actively moving here & there. So this one is the best shot among others…

Baby XJ and me wishing my readers & my buddies a very Happy Mid-Autumn Festival!

It’s your day, honey! Happy Birthday!
As we planned earlier, we spent almost half day at 1U (yeah, again at 1U) to celebrate hubby’s birthday. We reached there at 2:30pm after finished the chores at home. I found the photo-taking machine is cute and never try before. (the Japanese-speaking machine, you need to put 10 tokens to start snapping & you can design the lay out) But my RM20.00 was totally wasted because we were not ready & the snaps went off so fast, the outcome of the pix was disappointed! Blame the Malay girl for her poor explanation and no English manual in the machine!

Proceed to play bowling. I haven’t play it so such a long time. Still remember the last time I was playing with classmates at Federal Hotel there some years ago. It’s a good indoor games but I still prefer those outdoor one with a lot of sweat! I strike one time only. My performance wasn’t as good as before. I was defeated my hubby this time.
Shopping around to buy kids’ birthday gifts while hubby spent some time at AV shop. Walking around for about two hours and buying all “not my stuffs”, put into car first then to start our dinner at Vietnam Kitchen as we agreed earlier.

My Special Beef Noodle Soup. When I eat noodle soup I like a lot of spring onion like this one. While hubby one is Sweet & Sour Tomato Sauce Beef Rice. It doesn’t look big but it’s quite a big portion. The sauce is real good so he added one more plain rice. The beef is well marinated, this is a “must try”!

It’s Papaya Peanut Soup. There are some other ingredients inside this lovely pot like winter melon and pork to make the soup taste very delicious, very sweet. I love it because it’s not oily at all although using pork. Vietnamese cuisine is famous for their spring roll so I ordered this Salad Spring Roll. It stuffed with variety of veggie and crunchy, it’s a very yummy appetizer.

If you love Chestnut, you gotta drink this Cool Water Chestnut to cool the body. And Green Applemint Soda is very refreshing too. Strawberry Ice-cream for dessert at last. It’s nicely prepared just like those served in the hotel. there are corn flakes at the bottom, very nice combination.

My presents to hubby: a lovely birthday card and a pair of Puma running shoes. You know why I’m buying this shoes? He said his old shoes worn out and he doesn’t want to go jogging with me. “So now you don’t have any excuse huh?!” hehehe…

“HAPPY DUMPLING FESTIVAL”
My mum said not to make any dumpling by her own but will buy some from the market. When I got back from 1U yesterday night, she called me & said she made some dumplings. Of course I love to have mum-made dumpling as compared to those selling in the market. So I picked some and had it for breakfast with green tea together with hubby. We didn’t go anywhere today. We spent almost a day in 1U yesterday and my legs are stilled tired now. I slept well yesterday and I felt it was so chilling in the early morning. Hubby asked me continue to sleep as it was raining outside. Oh great I have plenty of energy to watch the Men Single Final tonight! Get myself mentally prepared for the night, hehehe…

11.05.2008 is Mother’s Day. I Love You Mom! I noticed that most of my blogger buddies have bought a special gift to mum for this very special occasion. So, I think it’s leaving ME alone haven’t decided what to buy for mom. And there’s a note to you all, we should treat mum good everyday not only on this special day. Mom is the Queen of my family as we respect and love her very much (except her grandchildren always bully her, hehehe…) I’m going to shop for something to the Queen at home tomorrow with my hubby.
~ Here I’m wishing all the mommies a very Happy Mother’s Day! ~
